Exploring the development of ideas and thoughts provided by several members of the “Production of space” module how are these ideas connected and constantly expanding?

Following 6 students over the course of three weeks as they develop there individual project ideas and prepare for the productions of space presentation. Starting at the “Torpoint Ferry” an interesting social, architectural and physical space, aimed to be the launch pad for student’s project ideas.

“Torpoint Ferry” illustrates the complexities of physical space and provided students with an example, aimed to encourage, expand and nurture there original ideas outside of a typical learning environment.

I set out to document the process involved within the production of project ideas, how these ideas develop into the project, identifying the key elements and points that have been raised throughout the 3 week period and document these as well.  Originally I aimed to produce a stand alone DVD, but this was found to be to linear and to restrictive. Investigating how Adobe Encore comprises a flow document to display a current DVD project, I took this mythology and created a .pdf flow diagram resembling the traditional DVD format with the videos actually embedded within the document. The total size of the document was 8meters by 4 meters!

8balls black and white Premiered at the amber rooms, Exeter on the 26th of Jan.. It was an entertaining evening show casing both the black and white versions of the DVD.. Well worth £20 and all contributions go towards helping underprivileged southwest body boarders (Ben Pascoe) haha
